Born in 1966 in Cologne, Oliver has been travelling to Portugal quite often. After graduating in Economics and Business Administration at the University of Cologne, he has lived in Lisbon for three years, building and structuring the offices of Portimar.

As Portimar's Managing Director since 2010, Oliver is constantly committed to developing new products and positioning Portimar as "Your Partner".

Born and raised in the Algarve, Tourism has been ever present in Eduardo's life. Graduated in Economics, he soon began to work in the hospitality business. In 2000, he embraced the Portimar project, a challenge he considers permanent, as he believes in constant innovation and that it is always possible to improve.

He is passionate about the sun and the beach. He never misses the family outings on the beaches of Albufeira, where he lives. To Eduardo, traveling (even on business trips) is a mix of sensations - they allow him to enjoy himself, meet new places, new people and mindsets; at the same time, it helps him to understand and reflect upon what lessons he can learn from his professional life.

Responsible for the commercial strategy and distribution channels at Portimar, José is truly and passionate about sales and technology distribution in the tourism industry. He has an extensive experience within the tourism industry, in both B2B and B2C sales markets, project development & coordination and a significant travel background. Due to the challenges Portimar faces on a daily basis, José considers his work to be a genuine daily carousel, which forces him to ensure that constantly adjusts to the needs of strategic customers, suppliers and market demands. This permanent challenge is something he wouldn't trade for anything.

Born in Sagres, José is also an unconditional fan of motorcycles and of what they provide to him: the feeling of adventure, the feeling of freedom, companionship and adrenaline.

With years of experience as a sales agent for travel agencies and tour operators, Daniel is contagiously good-humoured with an uncommon ability to communicate. He is 100% committed to his clients and helps with the highest level of professionalism those who place their trust on his services.

A lover of history books, particularly about World War II, and a lover of trains, Daniel is a son of the beautiful city of Porto, but his heart and soul belong to Algarve, a region he loves very dearly. For him, friendship and trust are key values in all relationships, whether personal or professional.

With extensive experience in the area of Groups & Incentives, Sandra has an extensive destination management know-how. She started her career in 1987 and has collaborated with Portimar since 1992, planning innovative and creative experiences with a service of excellence. Methodical, professional and demanding, Sandra is also an optimist by nature and is a master at finding solutions to the problems that arise.

Born in Wangen im Allgäu, Germany, she hates flying and, when on holiday, she enjoys not only the Portuguese sunshine and its fabulous beaches, but also discovering the lesser known corners of Portugal.

With an extensive experience both in Tourism and Hospitality areas, Horácio has been collaborating with Portimar since 1994 and he has a very detailed knowledge of the context of hospitality in Portugal, being considered a reference in the sector.

As an excellent communicator, Horácio considers himself a friendly person and has a keen sense of humor. Sincerity, honesty and a sense of partnership is how he sees the work he does on a daily basis. His life motto is to live as intensely as possible, considering that we are here only for a very short period of time.

Sofia has been with us for more than two decades, having contributed to the growth and evolution of the company. This has also allowed her to grow and evolve both professionally and personally. Her presence within the company is seen as a constant and permanent challenge. Learning is a daily activity, interaction with colleagues is motivating and the experience that we gain from it translates into added value in terms of leadership and team management.

Sofia is from the Algarve and is a person who values stability and interpersonal relationships with family, friends and co-workers. One of her greatest passions is to travel and discover different places. Reading, cinema and outdoor walks constitute her preferred activities during leisure and free time.
